Wrasslin' Doodlez
So I was going to post this over in the RAM thread since it was inspired by the
Bert and Ernie/JeriKO
mashup that another nimble-minded and handed artist had posted online last Monday, but then I got to thinkin'...
I do commission artwork on the side...well, I'm currently unemployed so I'm just doing commission artwork right now... I
traditionally just do a lot of comic booky type stuff, but have recently been doing a lot of esoteric pop-art (think Brandon Bird but nowhere near as
successful) stuff for locals familiar with my work. Like I said earlier, that Bert and Ernie picture got a rise out of a customer and they wanted
something similar. Jericho and Owens as cartoon characters. No further instruction, real simple. So I spent decided to throw something together and
I'm happy with how it's turned out so far even though it does need a lot of cleaning up. So I figured I'd share it
here, and see if I can't get any constructive criticism or maybe some recommendations on some things that you might like to see in the
future?
Hell, I figure if there are any other artistically/autistically minded folks around here who want to share some work they can do so here. I'm
just making the switch over to digital artwork but have a few pieces in the pipeline that fit the wrestling motif (WWE proper. Got a killer Cesaro
piece I can't wait to finish), as well as a few designs I'm working on for consideration over at ProWrestlingTees (can't share those
YET) so if anybody's interested I wouldn't mind sharing them here on my beloved bOOards first when I can.
And if nobody gives a shit, then we can just go about our daily business and pretend this never happened.

It should be noted that ever since I drew this, I haven't been able to get Beavis and Butthead singing along with Kevin Owens' theme out

So the JeriKO piece went over well with the buyer, and I get a text this morning saying that his daughter who just recently got into wrestling loved
how it looked and wanted one. Got a request for Enzo & Cass in a Looney Tunes style and ended up with this...
If nothing else, I feel like I got the essence of Enzo distilled down into one image.

RAM was (is?) MEH tonight, but my brain started percolatin' some ideas for some drawings relating to Summerslam. I figured I'd share a
breakdown for a custom Summerslam poster in the style of Marvel's Secret Wars #8...
I figure it kind of works since Secret Wars #8 was the debut of the alien symbiote that would eventually become Venom, a character B�lor is obviously
a fan of, and this will be would have been The Demon's debut on WWE TV proper.
Any suggestions? Thoughts?

Oooh...While I enjoy the tinfoil festooned implications if he were to have snagged it from these very bOOards it's a safe bet to say that he got
