CRASHING THE BOARDS

Cruising through the message boards these many months, we, the good people of OnlineOnslaught, have noticed some high-quality, well-crafted thoughts that have never been presented to the average OO reader who just surfs the main pages. As a result, we would like to introduce our new weekly feature, Crashing the Boards, a mixed column that showcases some of the great insights that many of our readers have made.

Each week, we will present a new question or topic for all readers to examine and debate. Also, columnist Jeb Lund will surf through the boards for off-topic posts that merit exposure to a broader audience.

Readers can respond to the weekly topic by emailing Jeb or posting their thoughts in the new Crashing the Boards forum.

But the content of the column is not restricted to the weekly topic! Anyone can post solidly crafted pieces — on any wrestling topic — in the forum or email them to Jeb.

Finally, OO columnists will be scanning through other forums on the boards for great opinions or just aside comments that reflect interesting and diverse takes on wrestling — or comments that are just fun to read.

To sum up: if you have a great idea or opinion, polish it and send it off to the Crashing the Boards forum, or send it straight to Jeb. Whether it deals with a Topic of the Week, or is just a odd thought that came to you in the dead of night, we want to give you the opportunity to share it with a wider audience.

All posts will be subject to editing for grammar, punctuation and spelling. Also, if you want to write something but feel you need help rounding out your premise or supporting it more fully, Jeb has expressed his willingness to work one-on-one via email, with anyone who wants to work on essay structure or just a creative dead end. Just don't take too much time away from his weekly column!
