Gregory Hines was in A Rage Of Harlem with Forest Whitaker

Whitaker was in Panic Room with Jared Leto

Leto was in Requiem Of A Dream with Marlon Wayans

Hines > Whitaker > Leto > Wayans

Let's see if this can be done in 6 degrees:

Robert Englund to Yahoo Serious

Robert Englund was in A Nightmare in Elm st (part 1) as was Johnny Depp who was in Pirates of the Caribbean: curse of the black pearl, which starred Orlando Bloom, who was also in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, speaking of which, so was Hugo Weaving, who starred in a movie with Yahoo Serious called Reckless Kelly.

Englund > Depp > Bloom > Weaving > Yahoo.

Jason Mewes to Katherine Hepburn.

Hepburn was in On Golden Pond with Jane Fonda (the only Hepburn flic I can rememebr off hand)
Jane Fonda was in the China Syndrome with Micheal Douglas
Micheal Douglas was in the Perfect Murder with Gwenyth Paltrow
Paltrow was in Bounce with Ben Affleck
Affleck was in multiple Kevin Smith movies (lets just say "Mallrats" for connection sake) with Jason Mewes.

Hepburn>Jane Fonda>Douglas>Paltrow>Affleck>Mewes

this one should be an easy one,
Rufus Sewell to Gary Oldman

I might have made it harder but I got:

Sewell was in Dark City w/ Jennifer Connelly who was in Career Opportunities with Frank Whaley who was in Hoffa w/ Danny Devito who was in Twins w/ Chloe Webb who was in Sid and Nancy w/ Oldman.

Sewell-Connelly-Whaley-Devito-Webb-Oldman.

How about Humphrey Bogart and Ralph Macchio?

Bogart-->Hepburn-->Coleman-->Hoffman-->Cruise-->Macchio

Let's try Frank Sinatra to Jim Carey

This is a stretch....

Sinatra was in "The Cannonball Run II" with Tony Danza

Danza was in "Man on the Moon" with Jim Carey.

Try Hulk Hogan and Samuel L Jackson.

Pun, this was tough but this is what I figured out...

Cary Grant was in North By Northwest with Martin Landau

Landau was in The Majestic with Jim Carrey

Carrey was in Eternal Sunshine....with Kate Winslet

Winslet was in Sense & Sensibility with Hugh Grant

Grant - Landau - Carrey - Winslet - Grant

How about Henry Fonda to Ray Combs?

Has Ray Combs done anything other than TV? I personally can't think of anything. I know I haven't seen him in a movie.

Is that the same Ray Combs that used to host The Family Feud and commited suicide? If it is, I don't know of any movies he was in. And since we can't use IMDB, I can't verify that. This will be a tough one.

Ray Combs was in "Overboard" with Kurt Russell
Kurt Russell was in "Escape From New York" with Lee Van Cleef
Lee Van Cleef was directed by Sergio Leon in "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
Sergio Lean directed Fonda in "Once Upon a Time in the West"

But if you don't want to use directors...

Ray Combs was in Overboard with Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn was in "foul Play" with Chevy Chase
Chevy Chase was in "Modern Problems" with Dabney Coleman
Dabney Coleman was in "On Golden pond" with Henry Fonda

Vampira to Nora Dunn

It's the only Ray Combs movie I know and the only reason I know he's in it was because my dad pointed him out. Then of course the movie played a billion times on HBO.

Ahem, Vampira to Nora Dunn.

Yeah, but I always get the two confused. In order for me to be sure which is which, I have to go to IMDB, and that's a no no...

Eli, you might have to give us the answer or this thread may come to a screeching halt.

Okay, I'm cheating in the name of keeping Eli from breaking my game. I know that Vampira was in Ed Wood movies and I know that they made one recently, in '98 (as opposed to 50 years ago) with big name stars in it. Ed Wood wrote it a long time ago. Anyway, I went to IMDb and ONLY got the name of that movie and some actors in it and this is what I came up with:

Vampira was in I Woke Up Early the Day I Died with
Christina Ricci who was in The Ice Storm with
Sigourney Weaver who was in Working Girl with
Nora Dunn.

Vampira -> Ricci -> Weaver -> Dunn. Done.

Ouch. I'd REALLY like to keep directors and especially IMDb out of it, but Eli just wants my brain to blow up apparently. Ten million stumper-points to Eli.

Robert Picardo to Robert Goulet
