Wait. That's not a movie. That's my personal hell.

whyme, not only did he lose, he brought shame and disgrace on his family name for generations to come. He doesn't get to come back tomorrow or even get a lousy copy of our home game.

I'm gonna look like a huge dork if you weren't making a "Weird" Al reference.

Edited to fix a typo.

hhmmmm, recently, I'd say House of 1000 Corpses (but only the first time around).

Cool Runnings might be in there too.

Movies I hated:

Road to Perdition (it was so boring I did not even finish it)
Solaris (made no fucking sense)
Gangs of New York (3 hours waiting for two guys to fight and a fucking cannon ball blows them up - anticlimatic)

Most recently hated movie:

The Big Bounce (just plain stupid)

Wait, isn't this supposed to be Sucky Movies that we actually liked? I'm confused.

My favorite movie that sucked is "Kung Pow, Enter the Fist."

I second the Kung Pow mention. I also submit Midnight Madness as a horrible movie that I LOVE to watch. It was Disney's late 70s attempt to get in on the kooky college movie craze without the booze or sex. Recipe for FUN!

UHF baby, Weird Al and Kramer (Micheal Richards) together in the same movie equals classic comedy the whole family can enjoy.

Bloodsport and Kickboxer.

Crappy Van Damme movies with horrible soundtracks, terrible writing and even worse acting, but I LOVE the fighting.

quote from Bolo in Bloodsport
"Very Good...But brick no hit back"

and of course the quote from Kickboxer

"Mylee gooooood fuck"

Then of course the Steven Seagal collection up until the point he became all nature activist guy. So movies like Hard To Kill, Above the Law, Out For Justice and so on. One man against all odds, kicking ass and taking names.

Pretty much any skin flick they showed on USA's Up All Night. All terrible, but yet strangely engrossing.

The one I remember most: Caged Heat. There's rasslin in it!

All the Dolemite movies

And just imagine if, instead of the Palins, the Obama family had a pregnant, underage daughter on display at their convention, flanked by her black boyfriend who "intends" to marry her. Who among conservatives would have resisted the temptation to speak of "the dysfunction in the black community"?

Now this is a thread where I've got a lot of ideas....

Movies that sucked but I liked...

Street Fighter
TimeCop
Hard Target
Under Seige 2
The Last Dragon
Almost Heroes

A lot of Van Damme, but most of the movies he made fall under this category, that and Segal. Both legends in the "So Bad It's Good" HOF....

ROA, you have Under Seige 2 there, but myself I would include the first Under Seige, just for the cake scene. MY GOD what glorious hooters.

Movies can suck?
Sorry, just reaffirming Kyle's opinion of my taste.

I absolutely second the Chris Farley movies -- look at Tommy Boy -- you KNOW it's killing brain cells with every frame, and yet.......adolescent humor and a fat guy getting injured....WOOT!

I proudly submit "Superstar." I just can't get tired of Mary Catherine Gallagher and her big white panties. Not to mention Will Ferrel playing fucking JESUS!

And an early nomination for "Van Helsing." This just has suck written all over it, and yet....I smell a lovely, cheesy sort of suck coming on.

Doublee: your from Raleigh? I just now noticed that. You aren't by any chance a geeky roleplayer, are you? If not, I strongly recommend hiding from the 21-24 of October. Hordes of us Cammies shall be pouring into your sweet city for the national convention.

Joe Dirt is great, if only for Christopher Walken. I think he can save any movie....

What about this one?

Demolition Man

Snipes v. Stallone makes for a movie so bad it's good everytime.

Best line from that movie? Wesley Snipes gets asked, "What's Your Boggle?" by a museum patron. He replies, "What's MY boggle? How much do you weight?" before throwing the guy through a showcase window.

To stay on the Sly theme, Rocky V is so bad it's good. I mean, I love the Rocky flicks, but the premise makes absolutely no sense, Rocky's 5 year-old kid aged 7 years while he was in Russia, and the bare-knuckle brawl at the end is pretty goofy. But, I love it!

The movie was supposed to be a witty satire on politicaly correct college life - it was just stupidly hilarious.
