When we last left Legion, the Shadow King's plans to reestablish his kingdom by regaining his body were thwarted but not thwarted by David and
company, which is good for the good guys because no one thought to ask "Yeah, the schizo might not be the Shadow King, but does that mean he's
actually a good guy?" Turns out that David, now in full control of his powers and not lost in space/time, is still a bit "off" and has fled from
his former friends with Aubrey Plaza (his lesbian BFF who was killed then became a persona for the Shadow King before being given his sister's
body and oh no I'm crosseyed) in tow.
Oh yeah, also Fox canceled (okay, "ended before production") Legion as part of its "We really shouldn't make any more mutant series until
Disney knows what they're going to do with them" play. So this is the last season and the show actually knows it, so closure to everything!
Also, the show started yesterday and I only found out because of an ad on my XBox this morning. That's how invested Fox is in anything that
makes you have to think critically to totally get the things going on.
