Eminem drops surprise album

Kamikaze

A little throwback to the Beastie Boys with the album cover. Looks like he took the negative reviews of his last album to heart and came back with this as his reaction. Some of his old ways are back, including crazy flows and dissing people in the industry by name. He says mumble rap is garbage, D12 is dead, and apparently the Secret Service had a little talk with him on if he had any intentions of harming the president. This one is worth a listen.

When was the last time an Eminem album got good reviews?

To any hip hop heads here...how does this compare to, say, Relapse?

Are any of his raps as hard as Kenard, the little boy who shot Omar in The Wire?

It looks like someone finally clapped back at Eminem for his dissing of the young rappers on this album. No other than WWEs own Machine Gun Kelly. I have to admit it's actually really good. He sticks it in and breaks it off on Slim Shady!

And Eminem's response track to MGK: https://youtu.be/FxQTY-W6GIo

A well-received Eminem album where he calls out mainstream artists and attracts controversy for saying the "f-a" word, followed by him getting involved in a rap beef with a lesser rapper...feels like we're back in the early 2000s. Good times.
