The Ultimate Wrestler showdown was 5 years ago? Goddamn,

Voting for Sexy Boy, I alwasy loved the opening riff with the heartbeats, Shawn Michaelsocassionally trying to dance to it's rhytmn and the ridiculousness of him praying in the ramp with this particular song.

Shit, it makes me feel old thinking of how long ago when I first started reading OORick. I think it's 22 years now.

Also, I voted for Macho's theme, although Sexy Boy is just as deserving of advancing.

I love both of these, and the wrestlers they're attached to, but always Savage.

I voted "Sexy Boy," for being pure 90's cheese yet also somehow a timeless masterpiece that will last in our hearts and minds forever.

HBK's theme might need a re-write someday soon to include stuff like his wonky eye, thinning hair, and love for blowing away little critters... Savage's being without words keeps it timeless.

Tough one because they are so different but both so good; HBK's tells you everything you need to know about him, or at least the him that was him when he started using this; and Savage's gives you that big build up which really befits a champion, even if he was no less flamboyant than HBK in front of the cameras.

As much as I want to call Savage's timeless HBK has gotten a lot of mileage out of that song/theme, and it's pure HBK... I'm going to go with Michaels on this one.

Voted HBK, but I'm not super confident in my choice.

Voted HBK, if only because itís an original song versus Pomp, which is great, but is also played at every graduation youíve ever been to.

Macho Man's theme is a classic, but when in doubt, I will always vote for a theme sung by the wrestler over one that isn't.

The award for the most laughable cringe-worthy attempt at clever colour commentary goes to:

Well, this vote was a lot closer than it was in the Ultimate Wrestler Showdown.
