Oh my sweet Summer children, there are but two important names to this game...

...Buck Zumhofe and Cunt Dunkleman.

Just had a thought watching video of Kane zapping Shane's nutz in the Deez Nutz: Kane vs. Cena Round. They certainly don't do shit like that anymore. So, on that note, what Attitude Era and slightly post-EA bits could they absolutely, positively not get away with showing now? Whether from media backlash or lack of resolve on the WWE's part or public company fretting or whatever the fuck. Stuff like:

-the aforementioned nut zapping
-Choppy choppy the peepee
-Edge/Lita live sex show
-Mae Young giving birth to hand
-Trish barking like a dog
-Shawn bouncing around the ring in loose-fitting boy shorts
-Stone Cold drunken insanity
-Pillman pulling a gun
-any Mick-esque hyperviolence
-blood masks
-swearing
-Lawler's salacious announcing when any female showed up
-Rock's salacious comments whenever any female showed up

Well shit, that was a short Showdown. I guess we have a winner. Man, what isn't Kurt good at?

Mickie's V-Lick would deserve to make it to the semi finals. It's the only raunchy act that's confirmed to have made Vince blow a gasket. He apparently chewed her out so bad that Mickie, a fully growned woman, started crying.

You could have men kissing other men's asses in Vinnie Mac's world but no dirty lesbian acts.

Just thought I'd bump (and re-rail) this thread back up, because while posting in the current Ultimate Finishers Showdown, I had the thought that it could be fun to do an Ultimate WWE Champion Showdown (which could also include guys who held the world heavyweight title and Universal title). Granted, it would probably come down to Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin, but getting there would be most of the fun, where you could compare things like length of/number of title reigns, how important they were to WWE history, quality of matches had while champion, etc.

So once we've exhausted all the other Showdown ideas, determining the ultimate WWE champion could be a viable option.

I'd love to see short mini tourneys for undercard belts, too - best IC champ, best US champ, etc. Tag champs is kind of a generic tag team anyway, but the list of champions would be easy to find. And there are some people who just fit certain belts particularly well, where they might be the best in that specific role even if they couldn't win an overall wrestler comparison.

Austin, for example, would be a contender for best WWE champ of all time, but I don't know if he'd make most people's top tens for IC champ, it's not a belt I deeply associate with Austin (although his feuds for it were good and he was a perfectly good champ).

Agreed, I'd be all for doing showdowns for the undercard belts as well.

Yeah, I think that would be part of the fun doing title-specific showdowns. Like, Shawn Michaels won the Ultimate Wrestler Showdown, but would he even make the final four of an Ultimate WWE Champion Showdown? I doubt it.

I second the entrance music showdown. It would be fun to listen to them all, and it would be easy to get noms.

Now that the Ultimate Finisher Showdown is wrapping up, I'll go ahead and third doing entrance music next.

Couldn't we just do Iron Man vs. either Freebird or Badstreet USA as the final and be done with the entrance music?

I mean, if all the voters are 60+, sure.

I was thinking Stone Cold's "Glass Shatters" vs. Hogan's "Real American" in the finals.

I don't think it would be that easy of a final pick. I think there's a good argument to be made when it comes to certain themes making gimmicks work. Look at Mankind's original theme, it went a looooong way to portray the demented side of Mick Foley.
