What would YOUR entrance music be?

So, you are a wrestler for WWE. Who cares how you are there. And they offer you a chance to uses your own entrance music and they will pay the licensing because you are that hot a prospect. So what out of the entire pantheon of music, would you use?

I am thinking for myself, Ride of the Valkyries. The strings at the beginning would get the asses up out of the seats and I would make my way out of the position as the horns start up.

I think it's public domain so I could save Vince some cash on that.

Daniel Byran had been using Ride of the Valkyries since he came back from being fired right after NXT. Now he uses a reworked version of the song with a rock beat.

Ozzy Osbourne's "I Don't Wanna Stop". Either that or be a total rebel and try to figure out how to use King Crimson's "Court Of The Crimson King". Or set off a major feud with HHH by using Motorhead's "Eat The Rich" in an epic year-long bloodbath to see who gets to hang out with Motorhead.

(yes, I watch wrestling. and read comic books. and watch star trek* and battlestar galactica. and read george rr martin books. and obsessively build model kits of nazi tanks and planes. yup, i've got it all goin' on, baby)

(* i don't like star wars anymore. it's just plain stupid and was only about selling toys to begin with)

Well you know, just because these young men have little education and live in squalor, it doesn't entitle them to commit antisocial behaviour and get away with it.

I'm a chicken shit heel, who wins despite a relative lack of talent.

My theme is ironic.

Or:

The epic tactician.

You hear that, you know you're fucked.

Seriously, though: Somebody should use those.

That would be... odd, to say the least. If I were to use a Crimso tune, I'd go with "Larks Tongues In Aspic, Part II."

Other than that, Motorhead's "Overkill," Fates Warning's "Fata Morgana" or "Prelude to Ruin," or maybe Dream Theater's "The Mirror" or "Pull Me Under."

Unfortunately, nothing I've written would really make good entrance music. Otherwise, I'd nominate that, so I could get some extra cash.

"The North Cafeteria, named after Admiral William North, is located in the western portion of East Hall, gateway to the western half of North Hall, which is named, not after William North, but for its position above the South Wall. It is the most contested and confusing battlefield on Greendale’s campus, next to the English Memorial Spanish Center, named after English Memorial, a Portuguese sailor that discovered Greendale while looking for a fountain that cured syphilis."

I always thought this song would make a badass entrance song for the right guy.

well, ideally I would be a brutal heel, so I would stick with my OOWF characters theme music, Scarecrow by Ministry

Back in the dark ages when I actually went to wrestling shows with my friends I always thought the first 50 seconds of this made a great entrance. Of course you had to make it to the ring before the screaming started, or else loop it because the words are unintelligible. But the intro is great:

Back when Goon and I would wrestle as kids and we even went so far as to use entrance music, my theme was "Shedding Skin" by Pantera. And I still say that is a badass entrance theme.

I've liked a lot of OOWF stuff:

AFI's "Prelude 12/21" leading into Queen's "Princes of the Universe"
A Perfect Circle's "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum"
Fort Minor's "Remeber the Name"
Kanye & Jay Z's "Run This Town"

And I always thought The Who's "Baba O'Riley" would be really good, but it has to be for the right type of character.

In addition to those I mentioned before I would also find this acceptable...

But that's more of a "one off Mania" theme, at least without some serious editing...

I agree. I always felt this song would suit a character like Chris Jericho really well. I have no idea if it would still suit him well as I haven't watched wrestling since 2005. Pre-2005 Chris Jericho would be an ideal fit for this track (even more so as a heel than face).

I think right now I'd use something like Swedish House Mafia's "Antidote", just to be different. Blackout with strobe lighting, energetic entrance like Edge's was. I always really liked Edges entrance, especially when he was a face and ran from one side of the stage to the other in order to pump the crowds up. I think his waayy above average entrance contributed greatly to his rise to prominence several years ago.
