It's almost Halloween...Scary Movies!

Okay, since a few other topics have started, and I think this was talked about last year, I figured I'd bring it up again for the holiday season.
What is everyone's favorite scary movie? (Scary, not funny-scary) I would have to go with The Exorcist, Blair Witch, and Nightmare on Elm Street. I loved them all, and even though I've seen them each about 10 times, I still get chills.

the first Nightmare on Elm Street is rad!
I hear you with The Exorcist also. Pet Semetary and the Shining is quite a freaky movie too.

I'd have to go with Bones - there is no way I will say Candyman into a mirror.

The Fog shit me up, but I was 7 years old at the time!

Exorcist bored me, but I only saw that recently.

I enjoyed Thirteen Ghosts actually, made me jump lots! Pet Semetary put me off cats for ages!

This wasn't a scary movie, but I guess it fits...

Faces of Death. I know most of it's fake, but when I was a kid, I had such a fascination for this series.

It put me off monkey brains for ages... I kid! I kid!

on the whole, i'd say the exorcist. oddly enough, it bored me as well the first time i saw it. it scared me shitless pretty much every time after that. expecially the remastered dvd... they did some freaky shit with the visuals.

but and the last shot of psycho all ways creeps me out the most, looking at norman bates' face as they slowly and subtely dissolve the skull over it. just thinking about it eeks me out.

for the record, the most frightened i've ever been in a movie theater was at the end of titanic when i realized i was surrounded by hundreds of sobbing women. the scariest part being they were crying over leonardo dicaprio, that fucking walking waste of movie film...

The last scene of Psycho freaked me out. I was watching at my folks home 5 years ago alone at night in the dark on their big screen. I was seriously yelling at the dumb bitch to not go in the door, but she did anyway and I shrieked. Not like a little girl, but still shrieked nonetheless.

I also liked playing the first REsident Evil on Playstation in the dark. Those dogs made me jump.

nope, not gonna admit it. I got my manly reputation to uphold.

I shrieked like a big girl. Wait, that's not good either. Aw dammit!
