Best Cartoon villians

My favorite Cartoon characters are usually the villians. Maybe the shrinks' right. Maybe I really am just a mean person. Any how on with my list in no particular order.
1. Cobra Commander of G.I.Joe
2. Destro of G.I.Joe
3. Tom from Tom and Jerry
4. Mumra from Thundercats
5. Skeletor from He-man(The Original not the 90s one)

Cobra Commander rocked, until they brought in Serpentor and Cobra Commander just became his whipping boy. The worse was in the G.I.Joe movie, when Cobra Commander got turnedd into a snake and had to go to G.I.Joe for help (got that movie on DVD. Rah for me. Now I just need Transformers). But, pre-Serpentor and Dr. Mindbender, CC was da man.

I think I just like those guys who are powerful, since another great one is Megatron, from Transformers. He was a badass and he always was bitchslapping Starscream, the whining baby. Again though, when Megatron ended up being the pawn to someone else, it was stupid.

One of my fave names ever for a villian was from Strawberry Shortcake, with the villian "The Peculiar Purple Pieman Of Porcupine Peak (*dah dah dah da dah dah, dah dah dah dah*)... Most of the SS characters sucked, but the pieman was awesome.

Oh, and all the villians from the Laff-A-Lympics were great. That was just an awesome premise for a show.

Let's see if any others stick in my mind...

Skeletor was ok, but there were others on the team I preferred more. Like Two-Face and the evil blue He-Man. Can't remember his name. But he had battle armor.

Oh, and that smurf who would bite your tail and turn you into a purple, evil smurf. He was scary.

Never could get into Thundercats much. And don't get me started on any japanese-based cartoons... stuff like voltron and robotech had nothing good to offer.

I always thought Shredder from the ninja turtles and Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget were pretty bad-ass

Don't buy TF: The Movie on DVD. It sucks. Rhino decided, "Hey, let's do JACK SHIT to make this a decent DVD release." So they put out the UK theatrical release, which features narration at the begining and end that practically ruins the movie. They put out a PAN-SCAN version of the film, and on top of it, refused to provide any bonus material. If your comfy couch is located in the USA, DO NOT BUY THE RHINO DVD.

When was Megatron a pawn to someone else? He was in charge in the first two seasons, became Galvatron in the movie, and Galvatron was in charge (though completely insane) for the third season and the three episodes of the fourth season.

I really like Cobra Commander, Destro and Zartan from GI Joe.

Skeletor and Trap Jaw from He-Man are cool. Faker was the evil He-Man.

Soundwave and Megatron are my favorite Transformers villians.

Mum-Ra from Thundercats was pretty nasty.

I really liked Solomon Grundy, Black Manta, Sinestro and Gorilla Grodd on the old "Challenge of the Super Friends". Of course those are comic book villians too.

The Gang of Assassins and any variety of crazy named villains from Speed Racer!

Wasn't that evil Smurf called G'NAP or something like that? Or was that just what they said after they got bit?

Good point. Okay, it's settled. The evil Smurf is no longer "G'nap". It will now be known as "Jesus H Christ" Smurf.

I always thought Hordak from He-Man was even cooler than Skeletor. Too bad they had to throw him on the She-Ra show and ruin all his heat.

Also, I liked Sinister on the original X-Men cartoon. I know that he's technically more of a comic book character than a cartoon character, but oh well

Snidely Whiplash
Anyone from the Really Rottens on Laff-O-Lympics (though Muttley was a monster heel (for a dog))

Mr Mxlplx (or however the hell it was spelled)
and finally, The Great Kazoo

Ultra, while that is ccool you don't recommed the Transformers movie, I'm curious what version is on it? I know when it came out that there was an European version and an American version, but I am not 100% sure why now. I think at the beginning of it, brawn swore, and they cut that out/changed it for the U.S. release.

Don't quote me on that exactly being the difference, but I do know there were two minor variations... not sure if the narration would be the clue to seperating which is which or what.

Oh, and you are totally right about Megatron. Galvatron was the dude that came in and took over, but I forgot taht it was just Megatron after he changed. Totally spaced on the fact they were teh same person.

Muttley also kicked all kinds of asses on Wacky Races. The prob with that show is everyone cheated so it kinda got difficult to tell who the heels were.

What about Mojo Jojo from the powerpuff girls, he was good villian, and plankton from Spongebob Squarepants was another villian, as well as Mandark from Dexter's Laboratory another Villian.
