I've heard rumors of Billy and Chuck having a gay wedding on Smackdown. Dear God, I hope not! This garbage doesn't belong on a Wrestling or Sports Entertainment program. I mean god-forbid we could get a 30 minute Kurt Angle match or a Midget (cruiserweight) title match.

It might be time to quit watching and soon. Nah, it could never get bad enough for me to really quit watching, would it?

You have the power to officially change Smackdown's name? Uh oh...

And really, is a gay wedding more offensive to you than things like an old bitch giving birth to a hand, or a porn star getting his dick chopped off, or an American turning Iraqi in the middle of the Gulf War, or the various abuses of women, or... and on and on and on.

At least gay weddings DO actually happen. I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure giving birth to a hand is impossible.

Bone, I'm not questioning the reality of them happening and don't get me into Mae Young giving birth to a hand. We'd be here all day if I wanted to. Same goes for Sgt. Slaughter who did his career highlight by jobbing to the god of Professional Wrestling. It is just that we don't need this type of crud in wrestling either. I'm sure Chuck Palumbo is so happy to be remembered as a "gay wrestler". Monty Sopp always looked that part years ago, and never had any future as a wrestler anyways.

And what about those Gladd freaks? Will they enjoy seeing "diversity" or consider this "gay bashing". If they consider it "bashing" then maybe the WWE should show it. Nah, they'll fall into the pressure if that happened.

If you are that way fine, but I don't want "entertainment" to flaunt that garbage of a lifestyle in front of my face. The majority of the world isn't gay, and we should not be subjected to it.

The whole Billy and Chuck thing is kind of stupid I mean they're just recycling the same crap they did with Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty.

They never did it with Brian and Scotty. They scratched it at the last minute. Something I wish they consider real quick. However, it appears good ole Steph is pro-gay rights so don't only do we get to see two "comic gay" guys get married, but they'll prob. sell it in a "serious manner".

Yeah you're right they did stop it with Briand and Scotty but Russo was heading in that direction if the rumors were true. I was just saying they're recycling and old idea that already got vetoed once.

Actually, everyday women give birth to not one but many times two hands.

I don't get what they're trying to achieve with this... Is D-Von going to make an appearance and break it up, thus instantly becoming a face to the generally homophobic audience? Or are we supposed to be shedding a tear over the joy that they have found?

Or more importantly is Rico going to go ballistic, talk about what a damned stupid angle it is, wreck everything and everyone and finally get a decent gimmick.

This whole gay wedding thing proves the WWE is screwed up.

They have the ambiguously gay duo and if they just hint around it and are funny it is ok. But now they go full forward with it and the fans hated it. I think they tried to drowned it out on TV but you could hear the boos from the crowd.

Then Billy and Chuck go backstage and people like mark henry, a face, are congratulating them.

The average WWE fan will not go for this. They will have to make D-Von a face to stop the wedding and that does not go with his current gimmick. D-Von is the ultra conservative preacher and would be against most of the crap the WWE puts up there but that the fans love, for example a pillow fight match.

So now that they announced this they have two choices, one go ahead with this ‘wedding’ (are gay weddings even legal?) or try to find some way out of it.

I say they should find an out and fast. I am not against gays or homophobic I just think that this is a stupid angle.

"Wow, you've managed to add complete offensiveness to your arsenal now."

Like I am not already offended, Supermercado.

Look, all I'm saying is whatever you want to do with your personal life is fine, but don't flaunt it into my face and think I'm going to accept it. I'm not like John Rocker or Tony Stewart that gave-in and admitted their "anger" was a diease. Anger is not a diease, it is human nature. However, the liberal fruits want us all to be emotionless drones. I mean if a gay man or lesbian woman threw a fit like Stewart, they been awarded because of their "lifestyle". That is what offends me about them, otherwise I could care if people were queer or not. To paraphrase Dirty Harry in "Magnum Force", if everybody was talented as that guy -- I wouldn't care if the whole department was gay.

"What's next? Text description of cross burning?"

No, because the Klan would easily want to burn one in my yard too.

I fast-forwarded through all the chuck/billy nonsense. If it's a one-off gag like the Mae Young's hand thing, fine. But I don't see how they can make this a viable storyline. I'm predicting a swerve of some sort next week.

Edit:

Personally, I think it would have been much more interesting for Billy to think about it for a second, then go, "What are you talking about? I'm not gay!"

Laner...my wife said the EXACT same thing!! Then have his wife come out and slap chuck around. Anyone remember what she looks like anyway...I think she was hot.

I am not with TCB in anyway but i am amazed at the amount of PC on a wrestling messege board.

tcb: The majority of the world isn't gay, and we should not be subjected to it."

By that reasoning, adios Booker T.

(I would say 'adios D-von,' but who would care?)

And speaking of D-von, if he does stop the marriage, he won't be the face -- B&C will be.

Every effeminate or gay wrestling gimmick has eventually turned face -- all the way back to Gorgeous George, then the various Exotic Adrians of the 80s, update to Goldust, now these guys.

My main problem is that Lenny and Lodi were better at it.

Exactly. The majority of the world isn't black either, so why should we be subjected to that?

We should be subjected to people who want to be superior to the Majority. Booker T isn't Louis Farrkhan or Jesse Jackson. He is a person who is equal to you and me, and doesn't want to be superior.

Back in 1964 when the Civil Right's movement and bill were signed, Martin Luther King was doing all races a justice. Seperate, but equal was very, very wrong. However, by 1968 -- King was in Memphis at a Garbage Rally because most Garbage men in the 1960s were black, so he claimed the Garbage Man was being discrimated against because they were black and the garbage strike was due to race. A far cry from the King that gave us Equal Rights.

I feel that the old saying, you give somebody an inch, they'll push you and see how far you will go. Nobody, black or white or brown or yellow wants to be equal, they want to be superior.
