I would like your rating on the match between Zeus and Cronus, circa Eighth Century B.C. It was in this match that the two Greek Gods battled for possission of the universe along the river Alpheus at Olympia. The workrate in this match is reportedly what inspired wrestling to become the final and decisive event of the pentathlon, the five-fold contest of the Greel public games. And no ripping off Homer or Pindar.

Or, if you have time, a rating of the match between Aristocles and Perocles. This was a classic "big man" match and its brutality is legendary. In fact, it was this match that earned Aristocles his much more familiar name of Plato, which translated means "broad shoulders".

Thanks for your time.

Zeus vs John Kronus- I'll give it a 7/10. OK Match, but not as good as Zeus would have with Hogan in No Holds Barred...

Keep 'em coming...

Well, I said name a Wrestling Match, not a movie fight sequence. 6/10. Seemed to drag, and Keith David's moments in here will not be as remembered as much, as his Suplex to Jeff Jarrett on the NWA-TNA Debut Show...

How do we know what you've seen??

Try this...

Team Angle vs Team Lesnar - Survivor Series 2003

That should be recent enough.

Then maybe you should change the name of this thread to "Name a Wrestling Match I've Seen, but You Have No Clue of What Matches I Have Seen, So Maybe This Thread That I Created May Just Be the Dumbest Fucking Thread Ever With the Stupidest Parameters and Every Single Stipulation So Even If People Do Suggest a Match, I'll Just Shoot It Down With Some Dumbass Parameter, Just Like This Thread Is, So When People Tell Me To Rate Matches, I Can't, Because I Have Most Likely Never Seen Said Match Making This Even More Fucking Stupid Than It Already Was In the First Place and I'll Rate It"

Great idea Jeb, now when discussing this match, we just say Edgar and everyone know what we're talking about.

I would like to name Hogan vs. Warrior/Champ vs. Champ, Gertrude. To keep calling this match champ v champ and all that is too wieldy and Gertrude comes off much easier.

Even though Gertrude is not the greatest show of wrestling skill, it happened at an important time in wrestling and people still talk about Gertrude today.

It will be much easier to discuss this match now that we only need to type Gertrude when discussing it.

I'd like to name the Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels Iron Man Match Chuck Palumbo. Mainly because his name is fun to say. Palumbo. Just rolls of the tongue, doesn't it?

The best match of in Wrestlemania history? Quite obviously, it's Chuck Palumbo. Chuck Palumbo was a showcase of superb psychology, drama, and athleticism that has never been matched since then.

I think that the point of this is to rate the name of the match.

If I name Hogan versus Andre as "Super Collossal Funtime", then Flanders will let me know if the name is appropriate for the match in question.

"Name a wrestling match, and I'll rate it." The "it" is the name. How can we draw this conclusion? Many matches were put up for ratings, yet Flanders doesn't know anything about them.

Flanders will not rate "Gertrude", "Palumbo" or "Edgar" on workrate or crowd heat, but rather if those names are appropriate.

You can name WWE, TNA, and some WCW, and ECW Matches.

Team Lesnar vs Team Angle, 7.75/10, Great technical wrestling match that brings back the actual meaning of Survivor Series...

Hogan vs Warrior, from Wrestlemania VI? That I'll give an 8/10, as it was DEFINITELY an awesome main event, and one of the first matches to feature the passing of the torch from Hogan.

Rock vs Austin II- 9/10, What else can you say about one of the best WM Main event matches, and the best of the Austin/Rock encounters???

Keep naming.

Flanders,

End this pain! Just tell us what matches you like and don't like from eras you specifically know about.

Hart v Hart?

Giant Gonzalez v UT?

Hogan v Nash?

Flair v Funk?

I have a nomination for the 2004 Boardies!

Well, just don't name any Saturday Night Main Event Matches, or any b-show matches...

Owen vs Bret, Cage Match, 7.75/10. I like garbage spotfest matches, especially this infamous one.

El Gigante vs Undertaker, WM9- 3/10. Man, this wasn't even a good TECHNICAL wrestling match.

Hogan vs Nash, Finger Poke of doom- 5/10, Mediocre Technical Wrestling match that was a little better than the Gonzalez/UT epic.

Flair vs Funk, WCW Superbrawl '00- 6/10, Well, it's an OK technical wrestling match, but a cheap ending...

Keep up the naming...
