IS Ultra Magnus Boston Rob?
Krydor - 5-11-2004 at 07:58 PM

3 possible places to post this, but I decided on this area.

Consider that Magnus has "Gone Fishing" twice in the past year. Consider also that his disappearances coincide with the taping of Survivor: All Stars and the airing of Survivor: All Stars. Consider that two days after the finale airs in NYC, Magnus reappears. Finally, Magnus is a member of the "Red Sox Nation", as is Boston Rob.

Out with it, man! Are you Boston Rob?

More importantly, how is Amber in the sack?

Ultra you one lucky man

If I were Boston Rob, why would I disappear during the *airing* of Survivor: All Stars?

And, isn't *that* exactly the sort of question Boston Rob would ask to throw people off his trail?

Because, I believe that it's in the rulebook that the Survivors are supposed to "disappear" from the public eye until they are eliminated, while the show is airing to give the impression that it is "live" (which is why Greg from Season One said that he wouldn't grant any interviews until after the finale, because he was supposed to still be on the island, on the jury). In this case, Rob would never be around, because he was never voted off. (These rules, by the way are from the Amazing Race "guidebook", not the Survivor one, though I assume similar rules would apply, as per Greg's Season One disappearence).

The only flaws I see in this are:

1) The dude would be off shagging Amber and not schlepping with us slobs.
2) I could understand not making public appearences, but taking yourself off an anonymous message board is pretty hardcore.
3) Magnus isn't gloating.

More fuel to the fire:

Magnus showed up on Tuesday and has disappeared again. It is my theory that "Ultra Rob" posted from his fantastically amazing new PDA in between takes for his personal story segment bound to air tonight.

It's live, and I hope Boston Magnus says "Ah think yuh stuhpid, Krydah!" On live TV.

Even more fuel:

Ultra not around yesterday, Boston Rob out in Vegas doing Leno.
